According to the report, Hanoi 115 Center has developed a network of 8 regional emergency stations ready to respond to patients' emergency needs. Although the number of regional emergency stations has increased, due to the high demand for emergency care outside the hospital, the unit can only meet part of the emergency needs in the inner city and some suburban districts, while districts far from the unit still face many difficulties in responding.
According to the City's decision, the Center also has 4 more regional 115 emergency stations: Regional 115 emergency stations in Son Tay, Thach That, Soc Son and Thuong Tin.
The number of pre-hospital emergency requests by patients in 2023 was 39,242, the number of responses was 39,241 (reaching 99.99% of emergency requests to 115). Meanwhile, the quality of patient service is often of concern, with a total of 26,492 patients, the initial emergency treatment rate reached 95.3%, for patients with severe emergencies, the rate of emergency treatment is 100%.
On behalf of the city's leaders, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong sent his best wishes to the staff, doctors, nurses and workers of the Hanoi 115 Emergency Center on the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors' Day. Sharing the difficulties in infrastructure and limited human resources of the Center, the Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee emphasized that the City always pays attention to investing in medical facilities to meet the needs of medical examination and treatment of the people. On that basis, he requested the Department of Health to focus on strengthening the grassroots medical system; pre-hospital emergency activities of the 115 Emergency Center.
In particular, the Department of Health will soon make a project to submit to the City to invest in more ambulances for the 115 Emergency Center. In the process of developing the project, district general hospitals need to pay attention to the operating area of the 115 Emergency Center. At the same time, pay attention to the coordination regulations between the 115 Emergency Center and local hospitals in emergency patient care.
