Provincial People's Committee leaders visited and congratulated Buddha's Birthday 2024

On the occasion of Buddha's birthday, Buddhist calendar 2568 - Gregorian calendar 2024, on May 20, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and congratulated Most Venerable Thich Hanh The - Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province at Buu Van Pagoda, Do Vinh ward; Ngoc Ninh Monastery in Thanh Son ward; Dieu Nghiem Pagoda in Phu Ha ward (Phan Rang - Thap Cham city) and Pho Da Son Pagoda in Phuoc Dinh commune (Thuan Nam). Accompanying were leaders of the Department of Home Affairs, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

At the places visited, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the contributions of monks, nuns and Buddhists in emulation movements, campaigns and the socio-economic development of the province.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee sent his best wishes for good health and a joyful, peaceful and happy Buddha's birthday to all monks, nuns and Buddhists. He hoped that all monks, nuns and Buddhists would continue to promote the fine traditions of Buddhism, well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws, actively respond to emulation movements and campaigns, especially charitable activities to help the poor and those in difficult circumstances, contributing to the great national unity and the development of the province.
