Leaders of the Central Inspection Commission visited the martyr's family in Cho Ra commune

On the morning of July 21, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), a working delegation led by comrade Nghiem Phu Cuong, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission, visited and encouraged the family of martyr Ly Van Giap in Sub-zone 1, Cho Ra commune, Thai Nguyen province.

Also attending was comrade Bui Van Luong, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.

Martyr Ly Van Giap (aka Ly Huy Giap), born on September 10, 1950, enlisted in December 1969, belonging to unit C1, D5, F304. During the fighting on the Gia Dinh battlefield, he was wounded on April 29, 1975, with a disability rate of 61%.

At that time, he held the rank of Sergeant, held the position of A Chief, C14, E9, F320, and fought in the Southern battlefield. He died in December 2023 due to old wounds and war consequences; he was awarded the "Fatherland's Gratitude" Certificate by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1491/QD-TTg, dated November 30, 2024.

The delegation of the Central Inspection Commission lit incense sticks to express their respect and commemorate the merits and contributions of martyr Ly Van Giap to the cause of national liberation.

At the same time, encourage families to continue promoting revolutionary traditions, strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws; actively develop the economy and build new rural areas in the locality.
