After the talks this afternoon, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong invited General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping to a tea party at the Party Central Committee Office.
At the tea party, artisan Nguyen Cao Son introduced teas selected from famous tea regions in Vietnam such as Ha Giang , Yen Bai, Moc Chau - Son La, Lai Chau and Thai Nguyen.

General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong invited General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping to enjoy three types of tea, including Dam Tri West Lake lotus tea, with the main ingredients being ancient Shan Tuyet white tea from Tay Con Linh, Ha Giang combined with Dam Tri West Lake lotus rice scented for three years, old Oolong tea from Moc Chau plateau - Son La and 2,000 Shan Tuyet ancient Shan Tuyet white tea from Tay Con Linh Ha Giang, also known as Thanh Minh white tea.
General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping have enjoyed famous Vietnamese and Chinese teas together many times.
This is one of the very special reception ceremonies, showing the closeness and friendship between the leaders of the two Parties and States. For Vietnam and China, offering tea shows respect and hospitality, and is an opportunity to exchange sincere and frank things with each other.
General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping and his wife are paying a state visit to Vietnam on December 12 and 13, at the invitation of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and his wife, and President Vo Van Thuong and his wife.
General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong this afternoon presided over a state-level welcoming ceremony for General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping at the Presidential Palace with the most solemn rituals. The two leaders then held talks, reviewed and listened to the introduction of 36 documents signed between the two countries.
This is Mr. Tap's third visit to Vietnam as General Secretary and President of China. This activity is considered a very important opportunity for the top leaders of the two Parties to maintain and enhance strategic exchanges in the new situation.
