At the O Ta Soc Historical Relic Site, the delegation conducted a flag-saluting ceremony and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the soldiers, including soldiers of the 1st Corps, the Liberation Army of South Vietnam.
Offering incense to commemorate the 181 martyrs, the Party Committee and government of O Lam commune vow to continue the heroic tradition and revolutionary spirit of our ancestors, focus on leading and directing the entire political system, and have solutions to build and develop the land of O Lam to become increasingly prosperous.

The delegation also visited the family of Mr. Tran Van An, a 4/4 disabled soldier (24% disability rate), residing in An Ninh hamlet. Previously, Mr. An and his wife participated in the revolution, stationed at O Ta Soc base; they participated in the 128-day and night battle at Tuc Dup hill.
The leaders of O Lam commune expressed their gratitude for the contributions of Mr. An's family to the cause of national liberation and protection of the country. At the same time, they hoped that the family would continue to uphold tradition, be exemplary, and actively participate in local movements; educate their children and the younger generation in patriotism and make contributions to the collective leadership of the commune in the work of building the Party, the government, and taking care of people's lives...
