(NLĐO) – With over 100 vegetarian food stalls, the festival hopes to educate the younger generation about a "green and healthy" lifestyle.

The 2025 Vegetarian Food Festival will open on the evening of November 1st at Binh Phu Park (Ho Chi Minh City) and will last until November 4th. This year's event will focus on the younger generation with a message about a "green, clean, and environmentally friendly" lifestyle.

This year's festival features many unique new elements compared to previous years, most notably the organization of a series of creative competitions such as the "Green Drink Mixing" contest with the message "Drink to be Healthy," along with the "Beautiful Moment" and "Emotions about Vegetarianism" contests designed to increase interaction and spread the event's message.

The event also made a good impression on international experts. Ms. Marly Winckler, founder of the Brazilian Vegetarian Association and honorary president of the International Vegetarian Alliance, expressed her admiration for the vegan movement in Vietnam.

"I am very impressed with the vegan movement in Vietnam. Because I can see it expanding so much. And this fair is fantastic because there are students from all over Vietnam competing in vegan cooking contests. So this is very important because it helps them learn more about vegan cuisine ," said Marly Winckler, founder of the Brazilian Vegan Association and honorary president of the International Vegan Alliance.

With nearly 150 booths from around 120 businesses, the festival is expected to become an annual event, a symbolic representation of the vegetarian culinary industry in the city and the country.

One of the highlights attracting significant attention at the festival is the vegetarian buffet. According to the organizers, online ticket sales have reached over 1,000 tickets per day, and the total number of tickets sold is expected to be between 2,000 and 3,000. The buffet is served at a price of VND 149,000 for lunch (10:45 AM – 1:30 PM) and VND 199,000 for dinner (4:30 PM – 8:30 PM).
