"Homeland" Food Festival lasts until May 3, 2025

(QBĐT) - In the series of activities of the 2025 Culture-Tourism Week, on the afternoon of April 29, at Bao Ninh Sea Square, Dong Hoi City held the opening ceremony of the "Homeland" culinary festival. Attending were representatives of leaders of a number of provincial and municipal departments and branches.

Representatives of Dong Hoi City leaders awarded certificates of participation in the "Homeland" culinary festival to business households.

The festival space is decorated with nearly 20 booths processing, displaying, introducing, serving people and tourists delicious, unique dishes with bold regional flavors of Dong Hoi, Quang Binh people and specialties of some regions of the Northern, Central and Southern provinces. The dishes are elaborately prepared, such as: dried and fresh seafood, snacks and vermicelli, cakes, porridge, snails, etc.

Here, the Organizing Committee also arranged booths to display OCOP products, such as: One-sun dried squid, dried shrimp, dried squid, dried fish, fish sauce, dried shrimp, dried sweet potatoes, peanut candy; souvenir products and some booths serving soft drinks, ice cream...

Music and entertainment programs take place every night of the festival.

The City Public Service Management Board also organized a commitment signing with businesses participating in the festival to have a price list and sell at the correct listed price; at the same time, ensure good food hygiene and safety.

People and tourists enjoy rustic dishes at the festival.

At the stage space of the culinary festival "Huong Que" there will be a music and entertainment program with fun and new performances to serve the people and tourists when coming to this unique culinary space.
