The Organizing Committee's report shows that 2023 is the 6th consecutive year that the Press Award on Party building and the political system of Hanoi city has been held, affirming the interest of the city's leaders in promoting the role of the press in propagating the work of Party building and building the political system of Hanoi city.

After one year of launching and organizing, the 6th Hanoi Journalism Award on Party Building and the Political System has attracted the attention and response of many reporters and press agencies at the central, local and Hanoi levels. The Organizing Committee has received a total of 156 works from 30 press agencies and units. Of which, there are 52 printed works, 78 electronic works, 5 radio works and 21 television works.
With a spirit of fairness, objectivity and high responsibility, the Award Judging Council selected 2 equally excellent press agencies (Nhan Dan Newspaper, Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper) and 33 best press works to award the Prize, including 3 A Prizes, 5 B Prizes, 8 C Prizes, 2 C Prizes - Special and 15 Encouragement Prizes.
The press works participating in this year's Award are of good quality, consistent among central, sectoral and Hanoi press agencies. There are 22 central, ministerial and local press agencies sending works to participate, showing the interest, love and responsibility for the Capital and the Party building work of the Hanoi Party Committee.

According to the evaluation of the Judging Council, the quality of the journalistic works in the contest is more consistent, with rich and diverse content and forms of expression. Many journalistic works were carefully prepared, closely following the breath of life, accurately and promptly reflecting issues in the work of Party building and rectification, and building the political system of Hanoi city.
Thereby contributing to improving the quality of propaganda on Party building and the political system of Hanoi city and creating a positive ripple effect in society. The results achieved demonstrate the love and spirit of serious work, creativity and responsibility of journalists towards the capital city of Hanoi.

Actively promote Party building work
Speaking at the award ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong said that, fully and deeply aware of the important role and position of Party building work, the Resolution of the 17th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee clearly identified this as one of the five key tasks that need to be focused on during the 2020-2025 term. To carry out this important task well, it is necessary not only for the participation of Party committees and organizations at all levels but also for the active participation of the entire political system and the people, including the important role of the press.
Over the past 6 years, since the launch of the first Press Award on Party building and the political system of Hanoi City - 2018 up to now, the work of Party building and political system building of the Hanoi City Party Committee has always received the attention of press agencies, journalists and people of the Capital.
Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee Vu Duc Bao and Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Committee Nguyen Doan Toan presented the C Prize to the authors and groups of authors.
Through the press, important contents of the work of Party building and building the political system of Hanoi city are widely disseminated, helping Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, Party members and people understand more correctly and fully the position and importance of the work of Party building and rectification. Thereby, they can perform their tasks well, practically concretize and put the Party's directives and resolutions into practice soon, contributing to the cause of building and developing the Capital.
Comrade Nguyen Van Phong said that looking back at 2023 and more than half of the term of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 17th National Party Congress of Hanoi City has led and directed the serious and effective implementation of the policies and directions of the Party, the National Assembly and the Government. In particular, promoting the spirit of proactiveness, determination, solidarity, creativity, organizing and implementing well the working theme of 2023 "Discipline, responsibility, action, creativity, development".

The 6th Hanoi Party and Political System Press Award Ceremony was solemnly held by the Hanoi Party Committee today to recognize and honor outstanding collectives and individuals who won the Award. At the same time, it demonstrated the city's leaders' attention to promoting the role of the press in disseminating information on Party building and the political system building of the capital. This is also an important and practical event to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Hanoi Party Committee (March 17, 1930 - March 17, 2024).
Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong said that 2024 is a year of special significance in successfully implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 17th National Party Congress of Hanoi and striving to complete the goals of the 5-year socio-economic development plan for 2021-2025. At the same time, actively prepare for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term towards the 14th National Party Congress.
This is also the year of organizing many activities to celebrate major holidays and important political events of the country and the Capital, especially the 70th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024)... Therefore, the Party Committee, government and people of the Capital are determined to focus on directing the successful implementation of the assigned tasks. The focus is to continue to lead and direct the effective implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 17th National Party Congress of the City Party Committee, 10 major work programs of the 17th City Party Committee and the plans, projects and work programs of the City Party Committee in 2024.

At this solemn ceremony, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, comrade Nguyen Van Phong officially launched the 7th Hanoi City Press Award on Party building and political system in 2024 and called on press agencies, reporters, editors, localities, agencies, units, cadres, party members and people to actively participate in and respond to the Award.
