LAOS WANTS TO CAUSE SURPRISE
Coach Ha Hyeok-jun has helped the Laos team improve, moving up 3 places in the FIFA rankings. Mr. Ha's students play more systematically, starting to execute coherent attacking arrangements. However, the Laos team still has many problems that cannot be overcome. First is the limited finishing.
More importantly, the Lao team could not maintain their physical strength for the entire 90 minutes, easily falling into a state of disintegration. In the first leg of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers, the Malaysian team could only score 3 goals in the second half of the match, when Laos had put all their best efforts into the first half. Mr. Ha Hyeok-jun understood that problem clearly. The Korean coach shared in the press conference before the second leg: "We made many mistakes and learned from them. Laos will try to defend more to get better results."

Obviously, the Laos team can completely cause a surprise at Bukit Jalil Stadium if they play a persistent defense, distribute their strength reasonably to still be able to put pressure on Malaysia. In the first leg, Coach Cklamovski's students won but still revealed some weaknesses such as ineffective finishing, and a few moments of lack of concentration in defense. These are the points that the Laos team needs to pay attention to.
ALAYSIA TEMPORARILY FORGET THE NATURALIZATION SCANDAL
Meanwhile, Malaysia coach Cklamovski was full of confidence: "Every player is ready. We created a lot of chances and scored in most of the matches so far. However, we can definitely play more explosively in front of the opponent's goal. The return match will give us another chance to do that. The important thing is to train hard, play well and make Malaysians proud. We cannot be affected by what has happened.
My message is simple: support the players. Come to Bukit Jalil, fill the stands. We want to make the country proud and inspire every child to dream of playing for Malaysia one day."
One notable detail is that the Australian coach apologized to the Malaysian Football Federation for his criticism of the naturalization issue.
