Detailed schedule of the September 2nd Parade
The parade and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will start from 6:30 to 10:00 on Tuesday morning, September 2.
Scale: National level, with the participation of about 30,000 people (not including parade and marching forces) and armed forces and the masses. There is participation of parade forces from 5 guest countries.
Location: The center is Ba Dinh Square, then parade through central streets such as Hung Vuong, Hoang Dieu, Kim Ma, Lieu Giai...
Time: From 06:30 to 10:00, Tuesday morning, September 2, 2025.
The stage area at Ba Dinh Square is reserved for invited delegates. People can freely watch the parade along the streets.
How to participate and instructions: This is the most important event. To watch live, people should choose a location on Hung Vuong, Hoang Dieu, Kim Ma streets... and arrive very early (before 06:00).
Can be monitored through 270 LED screens installed throughout the city. Strictly follow security regulations and instructions of the authorities.

Consider organizing fireworks displays to celebrate National Day September 2
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued Official Dispatch No. 3956/BVHTTDL - NTBD to the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities on organizing cultural and artistic activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requested the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to coordinate and direct relevant departments and branches to organize cultural and artistic activities to celebrate the occasion, such as: Organizing cultural and artistic programs, visual propaganda, exhibitions... to arouse national pride, patriotism, and commemorate the contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and predecessors in the struggle for national independence and national construction.
Based on the actual situation in the locality, budget conditions, facilities and regional characteristics, localities proactively develop plans to organize appropriate cultural and artistic activities, ensuring practicality, efficiency, savings and safety.
In addition, consider organizing fireworks displays to celebrate National Day, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people, contributing to promoting solidarity and faith in the leadership of the Party and State.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also requested localities to step up propaganda work on mass media, grassroots information systems, social networks... about the great historical significance of National Day, the achievements of the country in the past 80 years. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requested the People's Committees of provinces and cities to consider this an important political task in 2025, pay attention to closely directing the organization of activities to ensure practicality, safety, efficiency, creating a special mark on the occasion of the anniversary of the nation's important holidays, contributing to creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
After completing the activities, localities are requested to summarize and report the implementation results to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (through the Department of Performing Arts) before September 10, 2025 to serve the general summary and evaluation work.
