On the morning of July 31, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation held a conference to honor creative and excellent workers in 2024; commend the "Green - Clean - Beautiful, Ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" movement for the period 2020 - 2025 and award commemorative medals to comrades who have made many contributions to building the Vietnam Trade Union organization on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025) and towards the Trade Union Congresses at all levels for the term 2025 - 2028.
Attending the conference were comrades: Thai Thu Xuong, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Nguyen Duc Tuan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city; Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee and representatives of a number of agencies, units, and socio- political organizations.
With the slogan “Be a 4.0 worker”, the conference is an opportunity to acknowledge, respect and spread the good values from the patriotic emulation movement among workers, civil servants and laborers in the city; at the same time, continue to arouse the spirit of dedication, innovation and creativity in the period of promoting industrialization, modernization and international integration. The emulation movement “Good worker - Creative worker” has encouraged tens of thousands of workers, civil servants and laborers in the city to actively research, innovate and create in labor and production.
As a result, thousands of initiatives, technical improvements, and production rationalizations have been born, contributing to improving productivity, quality, labor efficiency, and competitiveness of enterprises and the city. In addition, the movement "Green - Clean - Beautiful, Ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" has gradually raised the awareness and responsibility of business owners and employees in improving the working environment, preventing occupational accidents and diseases; and building a friendly, harmonious, and progressive working environment.
In order to commend, encourage and motivate workers who have actively participated and responded to emulation movements for excellent and creative workers in particular and movements launched by trade unions in general, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded the Medal "For the cause of building the Vietnam Trade Union" to outstanding individuals.
On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded 79 Creative Labor Certificates in 2024 to individuals; the Chairman of the City People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit for Excellent Labor to 38 individuals; the City Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to 16 collectives and many excellent individual workers; awarded Emulation Flags to 10 collectives, awarded Certificates of Merit to 36 collectives and 54 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" for the period 2020-2025.
