The dust treatment system of Lang Khanh Port Cluster No. 3 of Hon Gai Coal Selection Company has a total investment of 79.7 billion VND, built around a coal warehouse with an area of over 65,000 m ² , with a total length of 1,352 m, and an overall height of 14 m. In which, the coal barrier wall is 1.5 m high; on top is installed a 12.5 m high dust protection system, with perforated steel dust protection panels.

With the above scale and structure, the design has calculated the capacity of the Dust Treatment System to withstand strong winds of level 12, gusts of level 15; the efficiency of handling dust emitted from the coal warehouse (with normal wind speed of 5 m/s) reaches 83%, the amount of dust that exceeds the remaining retaining wall is only fine dust (maximum size is 2.5 micrometers) and will fall immediately behind the retaining wall within a range of 5m, minimizing the impact on the environment.

With the characteristics of a screening and warehousing unit and a production area, coal warehouse, and extensive ports located close to urban areas, Hon Gai Coal Selection Company always cares about and determines that environmental protection is an important, regular, long-term task and is closely linked to all production and business activities of the Company.

According to the plan, in the coming time, Hon Gai Coal Selection Company will continue to deploy the dust treatment system at Cluster 1 of Lang Khanh Port and at the Coal Processing Center - Concentrated Warehouse in Hon Gai area, to improve environmental protection.
