Evaluation of topics participating in the 10th Quang Ninh Youth and Children's Creativity Contest

On the morning of September 20, at the Inter-Agency Headquarters No. 4 (Ha Long Ward), the Organizing Committee of the Youth and Children's Creativity Contest of Quang Ninh Province held a conference to interview and evaluate the topics participating in the contest.

This is an annual competition for teenagers and children aged 6-18 who are living and studying in the province. After 10 years of organization, the competition has become a useful playground, helping teenagers and children have the opportunity to practice, develop creative thinking, and nurture the dream of becoming inventors in the future.

Students at Van Lang Primary, Secondary, and High School are using artificial intelligence (AI) and some online comic design software in the 2018 general education program to develop high school students' self-learning abilities in chemistry.

In 2025, the contest attracted 157 entries in 5 fields. Of which, 37 entries were in the field of learning tools; 32 entries were in the field of information technology; 24 entries were in household appliances; 30 entries were environmentally friendly products; 34 entries were technical solutions to environmental protection and economic development. These were all typical entries that won prizes at the local contest, selected by the Organizing Committee of the local contest to submit to the provincial contest.

Preliminary assessments indicate that the competition entries cover a diverse range of fields, and their quality is steadily improving. Notably, students have applied new technologies such as AI and IoT to create products for use in learning and daily life.

To have a basis for scoring the products and models, in 2 days (September 20-21), the Organizing Committee of the Competition will conduct interviews and direct evaluations of 157 authors and groups of authors to clarify the content of the topics and evaluate their applicability in practice. Thereby, exchanging and giving comments for the authors to complete and develop their topics, models and products.

The Organizing Committee of the competition is expected to complete the judging process and announce the list of winning models and products in October 2025.
