At the workshop, delegates heard a summary report from Mr. Mac Quang Dung, Director of the Department of Education and Training, on the draft plan and resolution of the Provincial Party Committee on improving the quality of education and training in Lai Chau province for the period 2026-2030.

The draft Resolution has set specific goals such as: Organizing the effective operation of 11 multi-level ethnic boarding schools in border communes; striving for 100% of classrooms to be structurally sound, and 70% of schools to have digital infrastructure to support online teaching. 100% of secondary school students will have access to digital competencies according to the criteria in the digital competency framework. Implementing the teaching of Chinese language in multi-level boarding schools and other educational institutions that meet the necessary conditions. Building and developing a teaching staff that ensures sufficient numbers according to the prescribed standards and responsibility to meet the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive reform of education and training in the province…

At the workshop, the provincial People's Committee leaders acknowledged the frankness and responsibility of the delegates; and at the same time requested the Editorial Team to fully incorporate all opinions to finalize the draft for submission to the Provincial Party Committee.

Concluding the workshop, Comrade Tong Thanh Hai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the Drafting Team for the Project and Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee on improving the quality of education and training in Lai Chau province in the period 2026-2030 - emphasized: Resolution 71-NQ/TW (August 22, 2025) of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development has opened up new requirements for Lai Chau in improving the quality of human resources, especially in mountainous and border areas.
