During the training, participants received instruction from specialists at the Online Center (VTVCab) on the following topics: General issues related to sales; current sales methods; basic sales skills, communication skills, consulting, and product presentation; skills in identifying customer needs and handling common sales situations; customer care skills and building reputation. Online sales skills, introduction to popular sales platforms (sales models on e-commerce platforms like TikTok Shop and Shopee); skills in creating product introduction content; taking photos and short videos with a phone, basic livestreaming sales skills; closing deals and handling feedback. Speaking at the training session, Colonel Truong Minh Duc, Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command, emphasized: Party committees and commanders of agencies and units need to raise awareness and clearly define their responsibilities in leadership and direction; focus on training officers and soldiers in knowledge and skills of selling on e-commerce platforms to serve as the core in guiding and supporting the people to effectively utilize digital platforms to promote, introduce, and consume local products, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development tasks associated with firmly protecting national territorial sovereignty and border security. He requested that, after the training, each officer and soldier should flexibly apply the knowledge learned to practice; proactively advise the Party committees and unit commanders on models and methods suitable for each locality and each product group; contributing to improving the quality of mass mobilization work, supporting the people in economic development, and sustainably eradicating poverty...

The training aims to equip officers and soldiers with basic knowledge and skills in sales, focusing on online sales. This will support people in border areas in promoting, introducing, and selling local products; and enhance the capacity of officers and soldiers in advising and guiding people in applying e-commerce and digital transformation to develop household economies ...

After the training session, the trainees went on a field trip to Sin Suoi Ho Community Tourism Village (Sin Suoi Ho commune). The organizers selected 3-5 households with distinctive local products and online sales accounts, prepared products for display, and provided guidance on livestreaming skills.

On this occasion, the Online Center (VTVCab) presented the Provincial Border Guard with 200 VTV Prime application codes worth 160 million VND.
