Quang Ninh Food Festival 2024

(CLO) The Quang Ninh Food Festival 2024, with the theme "Quang Ninh - A Destination Bringing Together the Quintessence of Cuisine," will become an attractive destination for tourists from within and outside the province.

From December 26th to 29th, 2024, Sun Carnival Plaza in Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City, will host the special event, the Quang Ninh Food Festival 2024. Organized by the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism in collaboration with other departments, agencies, and related units, the event promises to offer a unique, diverse, and captivating culinary cultural experience.

The Quang Ninh Food Festival 2024 includes a series of novel and attractive activities such as: a program showcasing and introducing the cuisine and typical traditional products and specialties of localities in the province and provinces and cities representing the three regions of North, Central and South Vietnam at 200 booths; art programs, demonstrations of culinary art and cocktail making by famous chefs and artisans.

Quang Ninh has many specialties that attract tourists.

This is a meaningful activity, providing an opportunity for localities and tourism businesses inside and outside the province to strengthen ties, exchange experiences, and learn from each other in developing cuisine into a unique and attractive tourism product, becoming a distinctive brand of Quang Ninh tourism.

With the goal of transforming its cuisine into a distinctive tourism product, Quang Ninh hopes to attract a large number of domestic and international tourists, contributing to affirming the province's position on the Vietnamese tourism map.

This year's food festival is being held at a special time, as Quang Ninh is gradually recovering from the aftermath of Typhoon No. 3 in September 2024. The severe damage from the typhoon significantly impacted the local tourism industry, but this event is a testament to the determination of the local government and business community to overcome these challenges.

Organizing the Food Festival at the end of the year is an important step to boost tourism recovery with the goal of welcoming 19 million visitors in 2024. It is expected that the event will attract approximately 120,000 tourists to visit and enjoy the food.
