After being caught by his mother in a bar fight, Hung was grounded at home. To teach him, after the grounding, Hung's mother asked him to work as an employee at a supermarket.
Hung was fond of playing and not interested in work, so he appeared indifferent when he went to the supermarket. Instead of working seriously, he sat playing video games. When the manager found out and scolded him, Hung was upset and annoyed. He did not like being reminded to do this and that and told the manager: “If you talk too much, I will tell my mother to fire you!” Then Hung asked to sit in one place and do nothing.
The manager then assigned Hung to weigh vegetables for customers. However, due to lack of concentration, Hung worked slowly, causing customers to wait in long lines. He even mislabeled the items, causing one customer to pay double for the item they wanted to buy.
The customer was angry and made a fuss at the cash register. Instead of admitting his mistake, Hung argued: “It’s only 100 thousand, why are you making so much noise?” Hung’s attitude made the customer even angrier and he threatened to post the story on social media.
Although he didn't think he was wrong, Hung didn't want to make things worse, so he took some money out of his pocket and gave it to the customer, saying it was compensation, and then turned away. Little did he know that his mother had witnessed the whole thing from afar.
In another development, Kieu had to accompany her manager to grocery stores to sell products. Although she did not like this job, she still had to do it because of the pressure of getting new orders from the company. The manager also showed that he did not like Kieu, so he made her do all the hard work when going to the stores to market.
