When launched, the new Livan Smurf 2025 will join the growing mini electric vehicle segment in China, directly competing with rivals such as the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV, Chery QQ Icecream or Bestune Pony. The 2025 Livan Smurf electric car has overall dimensions of length x width x height of 3,100 x 1,558 x 1,610 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,015 mm. The car weighs 815 kg, has an approach angle of 25 degrees and a departure angle of 35 degrees.
In terms of design, the Livan Smurf has a square, compact shape, suitable for moving in crowded urban areas. The front of the car stands out with the "Forest Spirit Eye" headlights creating an eye effect, combined with a silver front bumper that makes the car look like it is smiling. The charging port is located right in the middle, at the brand logo position. The Livan Smurf is equipped with 14-inch wheels, with a choice of monochrome or youthful two-tone exterior. The interior of the car is minimalist yet modern, with three interior color options: Sakura pink, Castle gray and Forest blue.
The car is equipped with a 2-spoke steering wheel, electronic gearshift lever, floating central screen and many compact utilities such as clothes hangers. Powering the Livan Smurf electric mini car is an electric motor that produces just 40 horsepower, giving it a top speed of 100 km/h. According to Car News China, this is essentially a renamed version of the Geely Panda Mini EV, a model that has achieved sales of more than 101,000 units in just the first 7 months of this year. The car is expected to be equipped with a 17 kWh battery pack, providing a travel range of about 200 km after each charge, a quite impressive number for a cheap mini electric car.
In China, this model is expected to be priced under 36,000 NDT (about 131.85 million VND), promising to become an attractive choice for young customers looking for economical and convenient means of transportation in urban areas. Livan Smurf's rival model, the Bestune Pony, also has a similar price. In the Vietnamese market, the Pony model has been sold under the name Bestune Xiaoma with a price of 199 million VND.
