According to Sky Sports, Liverpool finished negotiations with Brighton to sign Mac Allister - who has a release clause of $ 55 to $ 70 million. In October 10, the Argentine midfielder signed a new contract with Brighton valid until the summer of 2023, with the option to activate an additional 2025 months.

Mac Allister will be Liverpool's first rookie in the summer 2023 transfer window. After completing the Mac Allister deal, Liverpool also want to recruit Khephren Thuram, a 22-year-old midfielder from Nice, and Manu Kone, a French midfielder on the M'Gladbach payroll. Specializing in Transfers provides currently valued Thuram at $35 million and Kone at $32 million.
Mac Allister joined Brighton from Argentinos Juniors in January 1, but played for the Argentine club in the second half of that season. He continued to wear Boca Juniors on loan for the first leg of the 2019-2019 season, and officially landed at Amex in January 2020.
This season, the Argentine midfielder sublimated with 12 goals in all competitions, making a great contribution to Brighton finishing sixth in the Premier League to attend the European Cup for the first time in its 121-year history. In total, Mac Allister scored 20 and assisted nine goals in 112 games for Brighton.
