With 5kg combos (2-3 Ri 6 durians) for 536,000 VND or 643,000 VND (depending on the user account, there are different promotional codes), customers can buy durians that, according to the brand's commitment, are carefully selected and of superior quality.

However, an incident happened during this live session, when the brand representative, Tiktoker Nguyen Thai Huyen (O Huyen durian), continuously criticized Quang Linh for eating too much, and even said that she would not invite him to attend the Durian Festival taking place in Dak Lak this coming August, just because "with an appetite like Linh's, no one can feed him".

It was these repeated jokes that made the online community immediately "turn around" and cancel their orders because they thought that O Huyen durian did not respect their idol. Not only did they cancel their orders, many people also gave 1 star reviews to the Tiktok shop channel of the durian distribution brand. Although they have not yet evaluated or spoken out about the damages after this incident, it is clear that the brand is being "called out" the most by the online community for "choosing the wrong representative".

Recently, on the official TikTok channel, the company apologized for the incident and hoped that customers would not cancel their orders again. The content posted in the video is as follows:

“Everyone, please don’t cancel your order! Because after more than 30 days of hard work and effort, we selected from more than 50 durian gardens and more than 100 partners. Selecting each durian from safe growing gardens. And the drops of sweat, every minute of effort, checking the quality of durian, and meticulously packing each step…

O Huyen durian's apology and Quang Linh Vlog's move

Under great pressure from the online community, at noon on July 9, O Huyen Dua Rieng sent an apology letter on her Tiktok channel. She admitted that she did not have enough experience for a large live session, did not know how to talk, express herself, and make facial expressions, causing her jokes to become ill-intentioned and not good for Quang Linh.

“My intention was just to create a fun atmosphere, but because it was the first time standing next to an Idol, and on a big stage, I was shaking, nervous and under pressure, which caused this incident” – O Huyen Sau Rieng wrote. Accordingly, she sent her sincere apologies to Quang Linh, Hang Du Muc and the live session crew; and at the same time, she deeply apologized to the Foodmap brand as well as the customers.

Meanwhile, Quang Linh also spoke up and hoped that customers would not continue to cancel durian orders and affirmed that he did not like the noise.

He wrote on his personal page: “Everyone in the team behind the scenes has tried their best. Hopefully no one will cancel the order of the two sisters. I have never liked noise or getting involved in any arguments on social networks, so please forgive me.”
