MU's advantage if they meet Tottenham in the Europa League final

The fixture list will benefit United if both they and Tottenham reach the final of this season's second-tier European competition.

However, some argue that the controversy is unnecessary as both teams have no Premier League goals left to play for. That could allow both managers to fully concentrate on rotating their squads and focusing on the Europa League - the chance to salvage a dismal season.
