The first step is an intensive training program and workshops to improve professional capacity for more than 18,000 pharmacists in the Long Chau pharmacy system nationwide. Not only accessing updated knowledge about reproductive health, the medical team is also equipped with consulting skills and support tools to become reliable companions with women on their journey of proactive health care. Along with that, 2,222 pharmacies in the system will ensure the widespread distribution of standard, safe and reasonably priced contraceptive products, helping all women have the opportunity to access suitable solutions.
In parallel, the two sides will step up public education campaigns through social networks and mass media channels, focusing on raising awareness of modern contraception and the right to choose in health care, an essential right of women, but one that still faces many barriers in practice.
In particular, the program also pays close attention to areas with limited healthcare. 1,000 medical cabinets will be donated to remote health stations, carrying the hope of narrowing the healthcare gap and spreading real concern to each locality, each woman, whether in urban or rural areas.
Through strategic cooperation and practical actions, Long Chau and Organon Vietnam hope to not only improve the quality of reproductive health care, but also spread the message of equal, proactive and humane access to healthcare to the community - especially Vietnamese women.
