Brigade 167 (Naval Region 2) responds to Vietnam Law Day

In response to Vietnam Law Day (November 9), the Party Committee and Command of Brigade 167 led and directed the organization of many exciting, practical and diverse activities in forms such as: Propagating and disseminating legal documents; enhancing the operation of legal bookcases at agencies and units; organizing legal knowledge competitions. In particular, the unit focused on propagating, disseminating and educating new laws and legal documents; Military regulations and statutes; directives, instructions and regulations of the Ministry of National Defense , Military Services, Regions and Brigades on building discipline, law enforcement and discipline...

To improve the quality of activities in response to Vietnam Law Day, the Party Committee and Command of Brigade 167 have directed the renewal of billboards and slogans to propagate the law with the motto "easy to remember, easy to understand" placed in easy-to-observe locations. In addition, for visual and vivid propaganda andeducation , the Brigade has built and organized the viewing of 03 episodes of legal propaganda on signs and fraudulent behaviors in cyberspace, new points in legal regulations on road traffic; handling cases of military personnel violating the law and 10 legal situations, ideological situations... At the same time, the Brigade has also built 02 topics "Strengthening the building of regularity, law enforcement, discipline, troop management, ensuring safety"; “Identifying fake news, false news on the internet, social networks and current prevention measures in units” was distributed to agencies and units throughout the Brigade to educate and propagate to officers and soldiers.

In addition, with the goal of promoting democracy associated with strengthening discipline in the unit, the Brigade has organized a high-level political and ideological conference on strengthening the building of a regular order, law enforcement, discipline, troop management, and ensuring safety according to decentralization; at the same time, assigning Brigade Party Committee members to participate in activities and grasp the ideological situation in the unit. At the Brigade-level conference, officers and soldiers presented their views and problems, and the Brigade Party Committee and commanders thoroughly and specifically answered their opinions, thereby unifying and taking action throughout the Brigade.

Colonel Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Political Commissar of Brigade 167, said: “The Brigade always focuses on innovation, flexible and creative application of forms and methods of legal propaganda and education; in the past year, the Brigade has organized 02 seminars, 05 monthly Law Day dramatizations; regularly organizes and participates in research competitions, officers and soldiers have won many high awards, especially the work "Application of digital platform for online legal test" by Political Commissars of Ships 272, 273, 953 of the Brigade won the C prize in the video clip search contest "Youth of the Army takes the initiative to carry out legal dissemination and education work".

With creative and flexible approaches, the law enforcement and discipline situation of Brigade 167 has recently changed positively, the overall quality and combat strength of the Brigade have been improved, contributing to building a comprehensively strong Brigade "Exemplary, typical", ready to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks.
