Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong was born in 1963; hometown: Quang Tri province; professional qualification: Bachelor of Military. He has held the position of Deputy Minister of National Defense since October 2020.

The Prime Minister decided to extend the term of office of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army according to regulations for Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang, member of the Party Central Committee and member of the Central Military Commission.

Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang was born in 1965; hometown: Vinh Long province; professional qualification: Bachelor of Military. He has held the position of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army since November 2020.

The Prime Minister appointed Major General Tran Van Luong, Commander of Coast Guard Region 4, Vietnam Coast Guard, to hold the position of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Vietnam Coast Guard. The term of appointment is 5 years.
