Strengthening coordination between Public Security - Army

General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security; General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member and Minister of National Defense ; and Party Central Committee Secretary and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung co-chaired the signing ceremony.

Also attending were members of the Politburo , Secretariat, Party Central Committee; leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Public Security, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The ceremony was held on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 36th anniversary of National Defense Day.

On behalf of the leaders of the three ministries, Minister Luong Tam Quang expressed his joy and honor to have General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attend the signing ceremony.

The Minister emphasized that through the revolutionary stages, under the leadership of the Party and the management of the State, the coordination relationship between the Public Security - Army - Foreign Affairs has been very natural, with a "strategic symbiosis" to successfully implement the goals set by the Party. Historical practice shows that the great victories in the struggle for national liberation and reunification, the great achievements after 40 years of national renovation all mark the close and effective coordination relationship between the three forces under the Party's wise and talented leadership.

In the new revolutionary period, the requirement to enhance the coordination relationship between the Ministry of Public Security - Ministry of National Defense - Ministry of Foreign Affairs is extremely urgent, contributing to creating new momentum and strength to push back challenges, turn challenges into opportunities, mobilize all domestic and foreign resources to successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th National Congress, the 3 strategic goals of the Party "peace, stability; sustainable development, high quality; improve all aspects of people's lives" and the double-digit growth target, bringing the country firmly into a new era.

To bring the coordination relationship between the three Ministries to a new level, closer, faster - deeper - more solid - more effective, to better meet the requirements and tasks entrusted by the Party, State and people, the three Ministries organized the signing of the Working Coordination Regulations. The Regulations comprehensively cover all areas of cooperation; in particular, forming an annual ministerial-level exchange mechanism, ensuring that the coordination relationship between the three Ministries reaches the highest set goals.

Imbued with and implementing President Ho Chi Minh's advice "Unity - Unity - Great Unity. Success - Success - Great Success", the signing of the Coordination Regulations is a concrete and practical step, affirming the high determination of the three Ministries before the Party, State and people, aiming to increase contributions to the successful implementation of the 14th National Congress Resolution and the Party's strategic goals.

On this occasion, Minister Luong Tam Quang respectfully expressed his deep gratitude to General Secretary To Lam and the Party and State leaders for their close leadership and direction, creating favorable conditions for the People's Army, the People's Public Security and the Foreign Affairs sector to excellently fulfill their assigned tasks.

On the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the founding of the People's Army and the 36th anniversary of the National Defense Day, on behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Luong Tam Quang sent his best wishes to the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense; General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission; President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission; General Phan Van Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense; generals, officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army.

The Minister wished the Vietnam People's Army to continue to promote its heroic tradition, to embellish the "Determined to Win" military flag, to build an all-people national defense, a solid all-people national defense posture associated with people's security, and a solid people's security posture, always standing side by side with the People's Public Security force and the Foreign Affairs sector in the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party.
