Thu Duc Ward launches 3D digital map and Zalo mini app for effective urban management

On the evening of December 6, Thu Duc ward (HCMC) coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television Station (HTV), Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway Company No. 1 (HURC) to organize Thu Duc Digital Technology Festival at Thu Duc metro station (metro No. 1).

This is the first technology and digital transformation festival held at a key metro station. Attending were Mr. Huynh Thanh Nhan - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council - and leaders of departments and branches.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Mr. Mai Huu Quyet - Secretary of the Thu Duc Ward Party Committee - hoped that Thu Duc Digital Technology Festival would be a meeting place for the innovation and startup community, a place for startups to introduce advanced technology, creative solutions, and build Thu Duc Ward into a smart city.

At the program, two important digital tools were launched: the 3D digital map and the Zalo mini application of Thu Duc ward, which are core solutions to help improve the efficiency of urban management and serve the people.

At the same time, there was a signing ceremony of strategic cooperation between Thu Duc ward and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group ( VNPT ), a signing ceremony between Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway No. 1 Company Limited and Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank), opening up cooperation projects on technology and promoting the digital economy.
