On the evening of December 6, within the framework of the Vietnam Happy Fest 2025, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Hanoi People's Committee, Vietnam Television and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists to organize the award ceremony for communication on human rights - Happy Vietnam 2025.

According to Mr. Le Hai Binh - Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism , after 3 years of organization, the award has gone beyond the framework of a traditional photo - video contest to become a national award, attracting nearly 40,000 entries. Outstanding and typical works have been exhibited all over the country and the world.

After more than 4 months of launching, the organizing committee received about 17,000 photo and video works, nearly double compared to 2024. After that, the jury selected 36 winning works, along with 150 typical photos and 29 videos to display at the exhibition.

For example, in the photo category, the first prize went to the work Vietnam - The Rising Era by author Pham Ngoc Long Thien. The first prize in the video category went to the work Happy Smiles by author Luu Minh Khuong.

Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh expressed that each work is a true slice of life, a beautiful moment recording the transformation of the country.

All of these combine to create a vivid picture of a happy, civilized, and culturally rich Vietnam that is growing strongly.

"What's special is that the authors come from different professions, ages, regions and ethnicities. They use different equipment, from professional to casual.

But they all have one thing in common: a passionate love and heart for the Fatherland and a desire to convey the image of a peaceful, beautiful, dynamic and happy Vietnam to the world," said Mr. Binh.

The atmosphere at Bach Dang wharf that day was bustling and brilliant. "I took the photo at that moment, a Saigon that was happy, alive, and proud. For me, that is "Happy Vietnam" - the happiness of being part of the flow of history, and preserving it through a frame", Mr. Thien shared - Photo: Provided by the Organizing Committee
