Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Hanoi Capital Command; Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Dai Thang is a member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Hanoi Capital Command.

This afternoon, at the Hanoi Capital Command, Deputy Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Organization Committee Nguyen Minh Long announced the decisions on personnel work of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee to the Hanoi Capital Command Party Committee.

The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has appointed Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Hanoi Capital Command, term 2025-2030.

The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee also appointed Mr. Vu Dai Thang, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee, to serve as a member of the Party Executive Committee of the Hanoi Capital Command for the 2025-2030 term.

On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense , General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense, congratulated Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc and Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Dai Thang.

The Minister of National Defense highly appreciated Hanoi City and the Capital Command for always keeping the capital safe, stable and civilized over the years. In particular, the City and the Capital Command ensured absolute safety for the events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country, the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and other major events.

General Phan Van Giang thanked the leadership, direction and support of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee at all levels, sectors and organizations of Hanoi City for creating favorable conditions for the armed forces and the Army in particular to successfully complete their tasks in the recent past.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc informed some general features of the development direction of the Capital according to the Resolution of the 18th City Party Congress, building a modern, unique and peaceful Capital.

To achieve the goals and tasks, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc said that Hanoi needs to have outstanding policy mechanisms to implement major development projects such as the Red River landscape boulevard axis, the Olympic Sports Urban Area project, and underground space development linked with the development of the capital...

Hanoi also identified science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation as driving forces for development.

Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc thanked the Ministry of National Defense for its coordination and assistance to Hanoi City and accepted and directed the immediate implementation of the Minister's opinions in the coming time.
