According to the plan, Brigade 189 was assigned to build a new house in Bac Ai Dong commune, Khanh Hoa province. The Brigade proactively coordinated with the Party Committee and the government of Bac Ai Dong commune to prepare sufficient personnel, equipment, materials, and tools for construction, ensuring accommodation and living conditions for the soldiers throughout the duration of the mission.

Speaking at the troop deployment ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Ha Van Ty requested the construction team to uphold a sense of responsibility and solidarity, proactively overcome difficulties; organize construction in a tight and scientific manner, ensuring the project's progress, quality, and absolute safety in all aspects; strictly abide by State laws, military discipline, and civilian affairs discipline; and maintain a close and harmonious relationship with the local Party committee, government, and people.
Immediately after the departure, the construction team moved to Bac Ai Dong commune, coordinating with local authorities and families to survey the site, receive materials, and begin construction.

According to the plan, construction will take place from May 31st to July 10th, 2026, and the project will be handed over before July 25th, 2026, in commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the Day for Victims of Agent Orange in Vietnam (August 10th, 1961 - August 10th, 2026).
Earlier, on May 29th, the Brigade held a conference to brief and assign tasks to the forces carrying out the mission.
