Due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, many roads in the mountainous areas west of Da Nang suffered serious landslides, cutting off traffic. Dozens of landslides prevented motor vehicles from entering. In this situation, officers and soldiers of Brigade 270, along with militia, police, and youth union members, carried goods, waded through streams, and crossed forests to bring necessities to isolated residential areas.

The image of “tireless footsteps” in the mountains and forests of Tra My has become a beautiful symbol of the love between the army and the people in times of trouble. At each house, the soldiers kindly gave gifts and encouraged people to overcome difficulties, stay safe, and not suffer from hunger or disease after the flood.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thanh Hai shared: “Despite the difficult terrain, we always consider the task of helping people as an order from the heart of a soldier. The more hardships we face, the more we see clearly the responsibility and affection of the army towards the people.”

Timely relief shipments not only bring food but also bring faith, warmth and sharing in difficult times. The image of soldiers in the midst of landslides and rain, joining hands with the government and people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, once again affirms the spirit of "wherever the people need, there are soldiers".
