Due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, many roads in the western mountainous region of Da Nang have suffered serious landslides, cutting off traffic. Dozens of landslides have made it impossible for vehicles to access the area. In response, officers and soldiers of Brigade 270, along with militia, police, and youth union members, have been carrying supplies, wading through streams, and trekking through forests to deliver essential goods to isolated communities.

Each box of instant noodles, bag of biscuits, bottled water, and essential supplies was divided among the soldiers as they carried them along slippery mountain roads and persistent rain. In some sections, the soldiers had to wade through knee-deep mud, and in other places, they had to cross landslide-prone cliffs to reach the village.

The image of "tireless footsteps" amidst the mountains and forests of Tra My has become a beautiful symbol of the solidarity between the military and the people in times of hardship. Going to each house, the soldiers kindly handed out gifts, encouraged the people to persevere through difficulties, stay safe, and ensure they did not suffer from hunger or illness after the floods.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thanh Hai shared: "Despite the challenging terrain, we always consider the mission of helping the people as a command from the heart of a soldier. The more difficult the circumstances, the clearer we see the responsibility and affection of the army for the people."
Timely relief shipments not only bring food but also hope, warmth, and sharing during difficult times. The image of soldiers from the military region amidst landslides and torrential rain, working alongside the government and people to overcome the consequences of the natural disaster, once again affirms the spirit of "wherever the people need us, the army is there."
