Due to the large amount of water flowing downstream, widespread flooding in the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, and Lang Son is likely to last for the next 2-3 days. The risk of riverbank and dyke erosion and landslides on slopes in the Northern midland region remains high. The level of natural disaster risk due to floods is warned at level 3.

At sea, the low pressure trough with its axis at about 12 - 14 degrees North latitude connects with the low pressure area operating near the Truong Sa sea area, causing showers and thunderstorms in the Central and Southern East Sea, the sea area from South Quang Tri to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to Kien Giang and the Gulf of Thailand. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, gusts of wind of level 6 - 7, waves over 2 meters high, affecting the activities of ships and coastal areas.
