Commendation of 101 exemplary taxpayers

On the afternoon of October 10, Hai Phong City Tax Department held a conference to honor taxpayers who have complied well with tax policies and laws in 2024 to show gratitude and honor outstanding businesses, entrepreneurs, individuals, and business households in the area.

According to Hai Phong City Tax, thanks to the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and high self-awareness of taxpayers, Hai Phong's state budget collection results in recent times have achieved many impressive results. In 2024, the city's domestic budget revenue reached 74,458 billion VND, exceeding 40% of the Central Government's estimate, exceeding 22% over the same period.

By the end of September 2025, the city's total state budget revenue reached VND 80,204 billion, exceeding the ordinance estimate by 7.4%, equal to 96.6% of the target, up 40.2% over the same period.

Speaking at the conference, the representative of Hai Phong City Tax Department said: Over the years, the unit has always received the attention and close direction of the Tax Department, City Party Committee, People's Council, City People's Committee, and the close coordination of departments, branches and sectors. In particular, the business community, entrepreneurs and taxpayers have accompanied, shared and supported the tax agency in all stages, including difficult times due to natural disasters such as storm No. 3 ( Yagi ), still steadfastly maintaining production and business, creating jobs for workers and fully fulfilling tax obligations to the State.

Tax authorities at all levels have implemented the restructuring of their apparatus from the "tax management by function" model to the "tax management by object, combined with management by function" model to improve management efficiency, service quality and create convenience for taxpayers.

In the coming time, the Hai Phong city tax sector will create the best conditions, accompany businesses and entrepreneurs in implementing tax policies, support taxpayers to promptly enjoy tax policy incentives of the State so that businesses and entrepreneurs can focus on production and business to bring in more profits and take care of workers' lives.

At the conference, Hai Phong City Tax Department awarded certificates of merit to 101 outstanding enterprises, entrepreneurs, individuals and business households out of nearly 90,000 taxpayers operating in the city, recognizing and honoring the positive contributions of taxpayers to the city's socio -economic development.
