Reasons why the Russian team was eliminated

The Italian team, after failing to participate in the 2018 and 2022 World Cups due to being eliminated in the qualifying round, was drawn into Group A or Group I, depending on the results of the two UEFA Nations League quarter-final matches with Germany in March 2025.
