Lydie Vu is a familiar face to the beauty community when she was in the Top 6 of Miss Universe Vietnam 2023. The beauty is of French - Vietnamese descent, possessing sexy three-round measurements of 83-62-93cm. Lydie Vu not only has a hot appearance but also attractive performance skills on stage. Lydie Vu's mixed-French beauty is predicted to be a factor suitable for the criteria of Miss Supranational contests.

Currently, Lydie Vu has a bachelor's degree in communications in the US and a degree in French in media arts. Lydie Vu was born and raised in an environment with a Vietnamese mother and a French father, having traveled to more than 20 countries around the world, so she possesses highly appreciated foreign language skills when she is fluent in 3 languages: Vietnamese, French, English and can communicate in Spanish. This is considered the leading factor that helps her stand out when competing with the contestants at Miss Supranational 2024.

The Miss Supranational contest has been held annually in Poland since 2009, run by the World Beauty Association SA (WBA) based in Panama. According to the rankings of two beauty websites Sash Factor and Missosology , Miss Supranational is considered one of the largest beauty pageants in the world, in the "Big 5" alongside Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Earth.

Vietnam started sending representatives to participate in this beauty contest since 2009 and has achieved many outstanding achievements: Daniela Nguyen Thu May - 3rd Runner-up Miss Supranational 2011, Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen - 2nd Runner-up Miss Supranational 2022, Dang Thanh Ngan - 4th Runner-up Miss Supranational 2023.
