Mai Hoa burst into tears when she became the champion of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2025

After an 8-year hiatus, Vietnam's Next Top Model 2025 season has officially found its Champion for season 9: Lai Mai Hoa, the tallest contestant this year at 1.84 meters.

Last night, October 12, on the stage of the final night of the competition held in Ho Chi Minh City, Mai Hoa burst into tears when the MC announced her name as the overall winner with a prize of 300 million VND and especially the opportunity to walk on the catwalk of International Fashion Week in England, France, Italy, and appear on the cover of a prestigious fashion magazine.

Previously, in addition to the three contestants Mai Hoa, Bao Ngoc, and My Ngan entering the final competition night as announced by the organizers, contestant Giang Phung was also able to return thanks to the audience's votes.

The highest position of the program belonged to Mai Hoa after 2 catwalk competitions. The champion is currently a student at the University of Economics , Hanoi National University, born in 2005. During the process of overcoming the challenge, the judges also often gave Mai Hoa positive reviews, such as praising her confidence in front of the camera, mastering the situation, creative posing movements, etc.

Returning after eight years of production suspension, from thousands of applications, after the casting round in June, the organizing committee selected the top 15 to enter the common house, participating in a series of challenges to find the champion. The results of this year's Vietnam's Next Top Model season also received the approval of the majority of the audience.

However, the final night of the competition also encountered some "mistakes" such as the long duration, the opening introduction was too long, the organization also encountered some problems that sometimes caused the program to be interrupted.../.

Vietnam's Next Top Model produced its first season in 2010, copyrighted from the American show Next Top Model, founded by supermodel Tyra Banks. After the "all star" season (gathering contestants who have attracted attention over the years) in 2017, the show went on hiatus until this year when it restarted.
