Approval of technical survey plan for design and construction of the road connecting Long Thanh Airport

Accordingly, the joint venture of Dong Nam Design Consulting Joint Stock Company and Traffic Construction Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company 1 is the contractor that will conduct construction survey and prepare design documents for construction drawings - construction estimates for the project under the contractor selection plan for the Project to Upgrade and Expand Provincial Road 769. The implementation time is 40 days in the areas of Dau Giay, Binh An, Long Thanh communes, Dong Nai province.

The Project to Upgrade and Expand Provincial Road 769 has a total length of nearly 30km, starting at the intersection with National Highway 1, at Dau Giay intersection, Dau Giay commune; ending at the intersection with National Highway 51 at Loc An intersection, Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province. The project has now had its feasibility study report approved with a total investment of more than 6.2 trillion VND.

The project implementation aims to gradually complete the planned traffic system in the province. At the same time, increase connectivity, shorten travel time from the Northwestern localities of Dong Nai province in particular and the Central Highlands and South Central provinces in general to Long Thanh International Airport, connecting the quadrilateral of Bien Hoa - Long Thanh - Trang Bom - Nhon Trach industrial parks. Meet the transportation needs, reduce traffic volume for National Highway 1, contribute to the economic and social development of the districts through which the route passes in particular, Dong Nai province and the Southern key economic region in general.

In November 2024, the Provincial People's Committee also approved the feasibility study report of the Project on Compensation, Support, Resettlement, Site Clearance for Upgrading and Expanding Provincial Road 769. Accordingly, the total land area recovered for the project is more than 134 hectares, with about 996 households expected to need resettlement. The total investment of the Project on Compensation, Support, Resettlement, Site Clearance for Upgrading and Expanding Provincial Road 769 is more than 3 trillion VND.
