On the morning of October 13, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on the draft report synthesizing opinions and recommendations of voters and people sent to the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly.
According to the report of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, voters and people acknowledged and highly appreciated the political , economic and social effectiveness of the revolution in reorganizing the political system apparatus at the central and local levels, and implementing the 2-level local government model.
Voters and people expressed their trust in the Party's correct and wise leadership, demonstrated by the Politburo 's issuance of three thematic resolutions to continue and strongly supplement the four "four-pillar" resolutions, creating a unified, breakthrough spearhead to realize the two 100-year goals (by 2030 is the 100th anniversary of the Party's founding and by 2045 is the 100th anniversary of the country's founding), building a strong and prosperous Vietnam.
Voters and people expressed their excitement and pride in Vietnam's development in all fields, acknowledging the outstanding socio-economic results, especially the Party's recently issued policies and guidelines that demonstrate the spirit and viewpoint of building a Party and a political system that is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people.
Voters and people also highly appreciated the results of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, acknowledging the spirit of innovation, democracy, frankness and responsibility of the National Assembly before the Party, State and people, especially the timely adoption of policies to remove difficulties and promote socio-economic development.
The Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front recommends that the Party and State continue to resolutely direct and issue guidelines and measures to organize the implementation of two-level local governments after the arrangement and merger; ensuring that they are truly streamlined, compact, efficient, effective and efficient. Invest in replacing and upgrading digital infrastructure; synchronize information on the national database on population; land... to connect data to simplify administrative procedures in all areas of social life.
Along with that, continue to lead and direct the successful organization of party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly, election of deputies to People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, especially the work of selecting personnel to ensure that no cadres or party members are allowed into the Party Committee after participating in the Party Committee, performing the duties of National Assembly deputies, People's Council deputies for a short time, but are discovered to have violated the law, some party members, civil servants, and deputies are prosecuted criminally, affecting the Party's prestige and reducing the people's trust; at the same time, specify the responsibilities of organizations and individuals who have introduced these personnel.
The Party and State continue to lead and direct the strict implementation of legal regulations on citizen reception, handling of complaints, denunciations, petitions and reflections; strictly handle individuals and competent organizations that do not implement or do not fully implement or do not comply with legal regulations on citizen reception, handling of complaints, denunciations, petitions and reflections, causing resentment among voters and people.
The Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also recommended that the Party and State continue to lead and direct more resolutely and effectively the work of preventing and combating the production, sale and transportation of counterfeit and poor-quality goods; the situation of impersonating police agencies, courts, procuracies, tax agencies, buying and selling holidays on cyberspace to defraud and manipulate psychology, including the elderly and students, which is still common; continue to adjust and perfect the traffic signal system to ensure scientific, synchronous and smooth operation to ensure accuracy when handling traffic violations.
The Party and State continue to have fundamental and synchronous solutions to proactively prevent and combat storms and floods, ensuring people's lives and property in the face of very complicated developments of storms, floods, heavy rains, landslides and mudslides caused by climate change.
Basically agreeing with the report's content, the members of the National Assembly Standing Committee proposed to add an assessment of the mobilization of human and material resources for disaster recovery. At the same time, the Government needs to make an objective and comprehensive assessment, clearly indicating the causes of flooding not only in cities but also in rural, delta and mountainous areas with complex developments...
In the morning session of October 13, the National Assembly Standing Committee also commented on the report on the results of monitoring the settlement and response to voters' petitions sent to the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly; the results of receiving citizens, receiving and handling citizens' petitions and the results of monitoring the settlement of citizens' complaints and denunciations sent to the National Assembly in 2025 (combined with reviewing the National Assembly's report on people's petitions in September 2025)./.
