On the evening of December 4, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held the Award Ceremony for composing and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" for the second phase, 2021-2025 period.

This is a source of great encouragement and motivation, motivating the team of artists, journalists, members and all the people of the City to continue to strive and create many new works with wide influence, contributing to the construction and development of a civilized, modern, and affectionate Ho Chi Minh City and more importantly, contributing to beautifying the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space in the city named after beloved Uncle Ho.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Duong Anh Duc, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, said that during the time of launching the award, the Preliminary Board at the Associations and agencies and units sent 314 entries to the Final Board, with diverse works in genres including: literature, music , theater, cinema, fine arts, dance, architecture, journalism, publishing...

“More happily, this award has attracted many young authors, including authors participating for the first time; the movement has promoted literary and artistic talents among the masses in local clubs, teams and groups. This further affirms the attraction and appeal of the award; the clearest proof of the affection and respect of artists and people for President Ho Chi Minh”, Comrade Duong Anh Duc emphasized.

City leaders and delegates congratulated the collectives and individuals who won the Central Award for composing and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" in the second phase, 2021-2025 period.

Comrade Duong Anh Duc added that, in addition to the works praising and honoring President Ho Chi Minh, most of the works this time reflect the learning and following of Uncle Ho's ideology, morality and style of various sectors, groups and fields, clearly demonstrating the efforts and development according to President Ho Chi Minh's wishes.

With political responsibility and artistic talent, the team of artists, reporters, editors, press-publishers and people of the City have created works of ideological value and full of humanity, thereby contributing to encouraging and motivating the working and creative spirit of the City's people.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 115 collectives and individuals whose works won the Prize for composing and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" in the city, phase 2, 2021-2025.

In the movement block, the Organizing Committee awarded 34 winning works; including 4 A prizes, 7 B prizes, 8 C prizes and 15 Encouragement prizes.

In the professional category of literature, arts, journalism and publishing, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 50 works; including 6 A prizes, 13 B prizes, 19 C prizes and 12 Encouragement prizes.

In particular, the A prize was awarded to outstanding works in the following fields: Music: "Continuing the story of peace" (author Nguyen Van Chung); Dance: "Peacetime soldiers" (script Dang Quang Luat), choreographed by Nguyen Thanh Phat, performed by the Military Region 7 Art Troupe; Stage: Play "Comrade", directed by People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau and Quoc Thinh, author Le Thu Hanh, implemented by the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association.

Prize A was also awarded to the following works: Journalism-Publishing: Series of articles "People's hearts are in harmony, difficult things can be accomplished", group of authors Thai Thi Phuong Thuy and Bui Thi Thu Huong, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper; Cinema: Documentary "Forever a belief", screenwriter, director Huynh Ngoc Thao, Le Thi Thuy Trang, Television Film Studio (TFS) - HTV; Work "Steadfastly walking on the path chosen by President Ho Chi Minh", group of authors Dr. Dinh Quang Thanh, Van Thi Thanh Mai and Tran Thi Binh... (Ho Chi Minh City General Publishing House).

In the promotion block, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 14 groups and 16 individuals with outstanding achievements in promoting works about Uncle Ho.
