A breathtaking exploration of tourism in Ba Ria.

The Department of Information and Communications (DIC) of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has just launched the website bariavungtau360.vn, using modern virtual reality technology to introduce destinations, scenic spots, and infrastructure of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

With the desire to introduce Ba Ria - Vung Tau to a wider audience of friends, tourists, and domestic and foreign investors, the Department of Information and Communications was previously assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to lead the creation of the virtual reality map "Ba Ria - Vung Tau: Affirming Potential - Elevating Integration".

The content is presented in five themes corresponding to five discovery tours: Vung Tau city - interesting destinations; the beauty of the sea in Ba Ria-Vung Tau; exploring Con Dao; transportation infrastructure driving Ba Ria-Vung Tau's development; and high-tech agriculture in Chau Duc.

From over 100 carefully selected 360-degree images, using augmented reality technology to link images, users can easily access and observe Ba Ria - Vung Tau from all angles using their phones or computers, from an overview to detailed views of each landmark according to the theme.

Visitors can enjoy panoramic views while listening to narrations about the destination in Vietnamese or English, accompanied by background music. They can also easily interact with the images by zooming in, zooming out, rotating, or moving from one point to another, as if they were in a real space.

The locations displayed on the virtual reality map are integrated with Google Maps, providing specific and detailed location information. In particular, each theme also highlights key features to showcase on the map.

The Department of Information and Communications of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province announced that in the next phase, the map will be upgraded to include Korean, Japanese, and Chinese languages. In addition, the Department will also develop specialized themes for other localities such as Xuyen Moc, Dat Do, and Long Dien.

Previously, the Con Dao National Tourist Area Management Board also launched a 360-degree tourist map, which tourists thoroughly enjoyed as they admired and explored the beauty and discovered many famous landmarks and historical sites in Con Dao through virtual reality.
