Evening of May 17 at GMA Arena (HCMC), the professional MMA event Gods of Martial Arts (GMA) - Vietnamese Martial Arts took place with 9 "fiery" matches. This is the 2nd season of GMA, an event that Johnny Tri Nguyen spent a lot of time and effort on with the desire to spread the love of martial arts to domestic and international audiences.
Tran Minh Nhut (Lien Phong Martial Arts School) won the match at the center of the event Than Vo Viet Nam on the evening of May 17.

The highlight match of the event was the 53kg (Duong Lang) match between Tran Minh Nhut (Lien Phong Martial Arts School) and Tran Trong Kim (PFC Phu Quoc). The match started with a tense atmosphere but ended in the first round when Tran Minh Nhut took advantage of his opponent's weakness, controlled his back and then choked him from behind.
The 8 warm-up matches for the main stage also took place fiercely with the joy of victory for Huynh Quang Thien (Tanmonster Combat Club, 53 kg), Bui Xuan Nguyen (Vo Duong Lien Phong, 53 kg), Phan Ngoc Hieu (Ha Dong MMA Club, 53 kg), Luong Trong Nghia (Saigon MMA Club, 53 kg), Pham Van Hao (Dat Cang Tiger Club, 55 kg), Pham Kim Quoc Huy (Fighter MMA Club Da Nang , 63 kg), K-pa Thuan (SSC Club, 57 kg), Pham Anh Duc (Leo Jiu Jitsu Club, 68 kg).

Master Johnny Tri Nguyen said that with the desire to be a bridge for cultural and martial arts exchange between countries in the region, in 2025, in addition to 4 events of Vietnamese Martial Arts, there will be 4 more international Martial Arts events. "We will welcome more warriors with the name of International Martial Arts. coming from countries such as Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia... promises to bring the audience a martial arts space that is stronger, more meticulous, and more fiery than ever", martial artist Johnny Tri Nguyen shared.
According to the schedule, the next 3 events of Than Vo Vietnam will take place on June 28 (Championship Challenge), September 6 (Than Vo vs Than Vo), November 15 (Duong Lang Final). The 4 international Than Vo events have the following schedule: Convergence of Warriors (May 24), Semi-finals (August 2), Final 1 (October 11), Final 2 (December 27).
