Man United re-establishes sad record after 35 years

After the equalizer, Brentford played with excitement, causing Man United many difficulties. And what was supposed to happen finally happened. In the 33rd minute, Kevin Schade headed the ball to score, raising the score to 2-1 for Brentford.

It didn't stop there. In just 4 minutes, from the 70th to the 74th minute, Brentford scored 2 consecutive goals thanks to Kevin Schade and Yoane Wissa to widen the gap to 4-1. In the remaining minutes, Man United made many substitutions when some of the main players were brought onto the field.

Man United's game improved and they scored 2 goals thanks to Alejandro Garnacho (82nd minute) and Amad Diallo (90+5th minute). It is worth mentioning that these were all goals from individual efforts.

Losing to Brentford, Man United suffered their 16th defeat of the season. The "Red Devils" have 39 points, temporarily ranked 15th. If they play at their current form, Man United could completely drop to 17th place by the end of the season.

With 16 defeats this season, Man United set a sad record. This is the season they have lost the most in the past 35 years. The last time the "Red Devils" lost 16 matches in the English Championship was the 1989-1990 season.
