The insurance company said that after identifying the customer’s information, it had decided to pay insurance benefits in the amount of VND310 million. Manulife has now guided the customer’s family through the procedures to receive compensation.

It is known that at the time of the fire, there were 7 people in the house. 3 people in the family quickly escaped, including the homeowner, the homeowner's son and daughter. In which, the homeowner escaped by himself through the 5th floor balcony, to the roof of the adjacent neighbor's house. The remaining 4 victims in the family, including Mrs. NTH (born in 1971), N.D.D.S (born in 2013), NDK (born in 2022) and NTA (born in 2018) died and were taken out by rescue forces.
Previously, in the fire that occurred at a house in Trung Kinh alley, Cau Giay district ( Hanoi ) on May 24, killing 14 people, Manulife insurance company also compensated 2 customers who were victims of the fire, each customer was paid 1 billion VND.
It is known that in the first quarter of 2024, this insurance company also paid 1,800 billion VND in compensation costs and insurance benefits to customers, this cost increased by nearly 10% compared to the same period last year.
