Nui Thanh District Front mobilizes more than 500 million VND to support the elimination of temporary houses

In 2024, the Front at all levels in Nui Thanh district mobilized to support 30,630 gifts worth 13.2 billion VND for poor households and households in difficult circumstances. The fund for the poor in the district has so far mobilized and received a total amount of nearly 1.2 billion VND; from this fund, the district has built houses for 3 extremely disadvantaged households, supported 300 gifts for students, and provided livelihoods to 10 poor and near-poor households.

Up to now, the Nui Thanh District Front has mobilized 508 million VND, thereby coordinating with the District People's Committee to build 34 new houses and repair 74 houses for households subject to Resolution No. 13, dated September 22, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council stipulating the level of support for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province in the period of 2023 - 2025.

During the year, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district organized 20 forums for people to contribute opinions to cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, and police forces with 1,728 participants; organized 18 direct dialogues between leaders of Party committees and authorities with the people with 1,408 participants; organized 23 thematic dialogue conferences on compensation and site clearance...

At the conference, certificates of merit were awarded to 28 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in Front work in 2024.
