Binh Tu Commune Front mobilized nearly 870 million VND to support the Fund for the Poor

In the 2019 - 2024 term, the Binh Tu Commune Front successfully organized 11 supervision sessions, 3 social criticism conferences to contribute ideas to the draft resolution of the Commune Party Committee on leadership, maintaining and upholding the criteria for building a new rural commune, period 2023 - 2025; the general planning project of Binh Tu Commune, period to 2030; coordinated the organization of 39 forums "Contributing ideas to Party building, government building", forum "Direct dialogue between Party and government leaders with the people" and 23 conferences "Police listen to people's opinions"... Thereby, receiving over 200 opinions to contribute ideas and build the Party and government of the people. The opinions were promptly resolved by the commune leaders, creating people's trust in the Party and the State.

In implementing poverty reduction work, over the past 5 years, the Binh Tu Commune Front has mobilized nearly 870 million VND to support the Fund for the Poor, together with the support of the higher-level Front, it has built and repaired 17 solidarity houses; helping 30 households escape poverty and near poverty. In addition, every year the Commune Front connects with units, philanthropists inside and outside the commune, children far from home... to support more than 1.5 billion VND, giving more than 3,500 gifts to poor households, disadvantaged households, children with disabilities... on holidays. Thereby, contributing to reducing the poverty rate of the commune to 1.61%, down 0.39% compared to the beginning of the term.

The consultative congress elected 41 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Tu commune, term X (2024 - 2029). Ms. Le Thi Li - Chairwoman of the Commune Farmers' Association was elected to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Tu commune, term X (2024 - 2029).
