Mavin Honored at the Saigon Times CSR Awards 2024

On November 14, 2024, at GEM Center, Ho Chi Minh City, Mavin Group was honored to receive the Saigon Times CSR Award 2024, organized by The Saigon Times, a publication of Saigon Economic Magazine. This is the first time Mavin has received this prestigious Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) award, marking well-deserved recognition for the Group's efforts over its 20 years of operation.

Saigon Times CSR is an annual event, now in its 6th year in 2024, with the theme "For a Sustainable Future". The award aims to honor businesses that make practical contributions to economic, social, and environmental development, affirming the important role of CSR in increasing competitive advantage and protecting the reputation of businesses.

At the event, Mr. David John Whitehead, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mavin Group, participated as one of the keynote speakers alongside leaders of major corporations in Vietnam. He shared Mavin's CSR strategy and initiatives, emphasizing that social responsibility is not only a foundation but also a path to sustainable development and building a positive image in the eyes of customers.

A Journey Towards a Sustainable Future

With a mission to contribute to the community, Mavin's CSR activities extend beyond charitable work to include environmental protection, educational development, and livelihood support. The corporation closely integrates its business objectives with social responsibility, working alongside stakeholders to create shared value for society and contribute to sustainable development goals.

For example, in 2024, marking its 20th anniversary, Mavin continued to implement meaningful CSR projects, notably a livelihood support program for 200 poor, ethnic minority households in the two poorest districts of Thanh Hoa province – Thuong Xuan and Quan Hoa.

This is the sixth consecutive year that Mavin has partnered with local communities, helping them master livestock farming, increase their income, and move towards a sustainable future. In addition, Mavin continues to implement many other programs for the community, including: awarding scholarships to underprivileged students in livestock and veterinary science, providing gifts to support poor students in their studies, and organizing a fundraising run to plant 30,000 trees in Vietnam…

The Saigon Times CSR Award 2024 is a testament to Mavin's commitment to spreading positive values, building a sustainable future, and bringing practical value to the community during its 20 years of establishment and operation in Vietnam.
