Mavin Honored at Saigon Times CSR Awards 2024

On November 14, 2024, at GEM Center, Ho Chi Minh City, Mavin Group was honored to receive the Saigon Times CSR 2024 award organized by The Saigon Times, a member of Saigon Economic Magazine. This is the first time Mavin has received a prestigious award for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), marking a worthy recognition for the Group's efforts over the past 20 years of operation.

Saigon Times CSR is an annual event, held for the 6th time in 2024 with the theme "For a sustainable future". The award aims to honor businesses that have made practical contributions to economic, social and environmental development, affirming the important role of CSR in increasing competitive advantage and protecting business reputation.

At the event, Mr. David John Whitehead, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mavin Group, participated as one of the keynote speakers along with leaders of major corporations in Vietnam. He shared about Mavin's CSR strategy and initiatives, emphasizing that social responsibility is not only the foundation but also the path to sustainable development and building a positive image in the eyes of customers.

Journey For A Sustainable Future

With the mission of contributing to the community, Mavin's CSR activities do not stop at charity work, but also extend to environmental protection,education development, and livelihood support. The Group closely links business goals with social responsibility, accompanying stakeholders to create common values for society and contribute to the goal of sustainable development.

For example, in 2024, marking the 20th anniversary of its establishment, Mavin continued to implement meaningful CSR projects, typically the livelihood support program for 200 poor and ethnic minority households in the two poorest districts of Thanh Hoa province - Thuong Xuan and Quan Hoa.

This is the 6th consecutive year that Mavin has accompanied the people, helping them master the livestock industry, increase their income and move towards a sustainable future. In addition, many other programs are continued by Mavin for the community, including: awarding scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties in the livestock and veterinary industry, giving gifts to help poor students go to school, organizing a fundraising program to plant 30,000 trees in Vietnam...

The Saigon Times CSR Award 2024 is a testament to Mavin's commitment to spreading good values, building a sustainable future and bringing many practical values to the community in 20 years of establishment and operation in Vietnam.
