The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) announced that a six-seat Cessna 340 aircraft was believed to have gone missing shortly after takeoff on the morning of February 18 in Albay province, southeast of the Philippine capital Manila.

According to CAAP, there were four people on board, including the pilot, one crew member and two passengers. The plane took off at 6:43 a.m. from Bicol International Airport. The plane, flight number RP C2080, was en route to Manila. The plane is said to have lost contact at 6:46 a.m.
