“We know people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working to resolve this,” Meta spokesperson Andy Stone said in a post on social media site X.
Previously, on the evening of March 5, around 10:20 p.m., a series of Facebook and Instagram users in Vietnam were simultaneously unable to log in and use these two social networks.
Many users have been confused and shared information about their Facebook accounts being suddenly logged out. At the same time, when logging back in, the application is still inaccessible.
This problem happened not only on Facebook but also on Messenger for no reason. The same situation also happened with Instagram users.
The issue occurred on both Android and IOS users. When users tried to log in again, the system continued to warn about the incorrect password, even asking to create a new account.
According to the monitoring website Down Detector, the outage appeared to be global, with many users panicking and fearing their accounts had been hacked.
Previously, a similar incident of Meta also took place in 2021 when Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp crashed for several hours.
