On May 29, 2025, within the framework of the Digital Transformation of the Banking Industry 2025 event, MISA Joint Stock Company was the only technology enterprise selected to report to the Prime Minister on the journey of developing the MISA Lending platform to support small and micro enterprises in accessing credit capital.
The event was chaired and organized by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) at the Government Office with the participation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Governor of SBV, SBV Board of Directors; representatives of leaders of ministries, branches , banks, technology enterprises, payment intermediary service providers and related parties.
At the event, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited MISA’s booth and listened to Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoan – MISA representative introduce the breakthrough loan connection solution MISA Lending. This is the first and only digital platform in Vietnam, helping to solve the problem of accessing unsecured loans for businesses and business households – an important force of the private economy in the spirit of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW.
Impressed with the results of MISA Lending: 10,500 billion VND in credit limit granted, 22,500 billion VND in disbursed capital, with a loan success rate of up to 30%, 10 times higher than traditional lending models, the Prime Minister affirmed that this is a solution to help "everyone can borrow capital" and encouraged MISA to continue investing and further promoting this model.
Responding to the Prime Minister's expectations, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong also stated that MISA Lending is accompanying the banking industry in digital transformation, supporting businesses in borrowing capital based on real data, without requiring collateral, while still ensuring a high success rate, contributing to promoting the development of the country's economy.
Also within the framework of the program, at the discussion session, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoan shared about the journey of developing the MISA Lending loan connection platform to help small and micro enterprises access credit capital.
Accordingly, Ms. Ngoan said that small and micro enterprises are currently facing difficulties in accessing unsecured loans from banks. 97% of Vietnamese enterprises are small and micro enterprises, so if the problem for this group of customers can be solved, it will be an opportunity to promote the economic development of the country, while helping banks access a large market with great potential but still untapped.
From that concern, MISA determined its mission to build the MISA Lending platform to connect small and micro enterprises with banks and financial institutions to support loans through data on MISA software.
With more than 300,000 corporate customers using MISA's cloud solution, the MISA Lending platform can provide "live data" for banks to assess risks in real time, thereby limiting many risks for the Bank.
Ms. Ngoan emphasized: “The initial goal of MISA Lending is to create a breakthrough loan process, helping businesses complete their application in just 5 minutes, get approved in 1 day, and not need collateral, with the desire to break down the barriers of traditional loans.”
The results that MISA Lending has achieved are still very modest and only reflect a very small part of the market's potential. MISA does not stop at 300,000 corporate customers, the unit is still continuing to expand this model further to accompany society in accessing capital quickly, conveniently and transparently.
At the end of the presentation, the representative of MISA hoped that in the future, the Government would build a triangular model: the Government would have a credit guarantee fund for small and micro enterprises, commercial banks would lend capital, and MISA would be the unit that could provide data to minimize risks when businesses have a need. In addition, MISA also hopes that the State Bank and leaders of commercial banks would continue to strongly support this model to open up new markets and also create opportunities to promote the Vietnamese economy in the new era - the era of national development.
