A wide variety of propaganda methods

The Party Committee of Tung Ba commune has consistently emphasized the importance of disseminating the Party's resolutions to daily life throughout the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. The Party Committee of the commune identifies this dissemination as a "pioneering" task, a crucial bridge connecting the Party's guidelines and the State's policies to cadres, Party members, and the people.

At Party branch meetings, Fatherland Front conferences, and meetings of political and social organizations, content on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation is flexibly integrated and adapted to each target group. Local broadcasting systems, billboards, posters, and social media are utilized to convey messages in a vivid, easy-to-understand, and memorable way. Comrade Tran Quoc Khanh, Party branch secretary and principal of Tung Ba Secondary and High School, said: "Our propaganda content doesn't stop at disseminating resolutions, but focuses on clarifying the fundamental role of science and technology; considering innovation and digital transformation as methods and important conditions for successfully achieving the socio-economic development goals set forth in the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels until 2030."

Through real-life stories and effective application models both within and outside the province, the propaganda work has gradually awakened the aspirations and the will to think boldly, act boldly, and innovate among cadres, Party members, and the people, especially farmers. Thanks to the synchronized implementation of various forms of propaganda, the awareness of cadres, Party members, and the people of Tung Ba commune regarding the role of science , technology, innovation, and digital transformation has gradually improved.

Some households and cooperatives have boldly applied scientific and technological advancements to agricultural production; gradually becoming familiar with using digital platforms in promoting and selling products; and accessing and using online public services. A pioneer in this economic development movement is the family of Mr. Muong Xuan Chinh, in Ban Den village, Tung Ba commune, who has invested in a garden-pond-livestock (VAC) model, earning over 300 million VND annually. Mr. Chinh shared: "It's not by chance that my family has achieved what we have today. Through the commune's propaganda efforts, I and the villagers have boldly taken the lead, learning as we go so that others can follow suit. Now, thanks to digital platforms, our products are being sold more widely."

From looking up weather information, market trends, farming techniques, and new crop and livestock varieties on mobile applications, to carrying out administrative procedures online, science, technology, and digital transformation are gradually becoming a part of the daily lives of people in Tung Ba commune. Ms. Nguyen Thi Oanh, a resident of Tung Ba commune, shared: "Thanks to the commune officials' guidance and instruction on using digital platforms, carrying out administrative procedures is easier and faster, saving us a lot of time."

These initial results have created an important foundation for the socialization and widespread application of science and technology in practice, contributing to improved labor productivity, production efficiency, and the quality of life for the people of all ethnic groups in Tung Ba commune.

To gain the people's trust and encourage them to act.

According to Comrade Trieu Son An, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tung Ba commune: In practice, the dissemination of information on the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation in Tung Ba commune still faces many difficulties and limitations. Technical infrastructure is not yet synchronized or truly stable; the digital literacy and skills of the people, especially the elderly, are still limited. A segment of the population has not fully understood the benefits of digital technology and still harbors a reluctance to change old habits. In addition, the risk of information insecurity and online fraud also makes people hesitant to access and use technology. The number of concrete models and exemplary advanced examples is still small, and their dissemination is not yet high.

Nevertheless, science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation open up many great opportunities for mountainous localities like Tung Ba. The application of biotechnology, new plant and animal breeds, and post-harvest preservation technologies helps improve agricultural productivity and quality, and minimize risks from climate change. Agricultural startup models, OCOP products, community tourism, and deep processing of agricultural products, if linked to innovative ideas, will create more jobs, increase income, and promote local cultural identity.

“Through e-commerce, local agricultural products can access a wider market; e-government helps people save time and costs when dealing with administrative procedures; online education opens up opportunities for children in mountainous areas to access modern knowledge. If effectively utilized, these opportunities will become important driving forces, contributing to narrowing the development gap between rural, mountainous areas and urban areas,” affirmed the Party Secretary of Tung Ba commune, Trieu Son An district.

From practical implementation, the Party Committee of Tung Ba commune has drawn many lessons learned in the work of disseminating information about the development of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation. Cadres and Party members, especially leaders, need to set an example in studying and applying science and technology and digital transformation to create a ripple effect in the community. Propaganda work must be linked to building and replicating good models and effective practices; promoting the role of the Fatherland Front and other mass organizations in mobilizing the people. At the same time, it is necessary to invest in digital infrastructure and build a team of propaganda cadres with in-depth knowledge and sufficient capacity to guide, answer questions, and build trust among the people.

In reality, propaganda is not just about making people aware and listen, but more importantly, about making people believe and act. When the people clearly understand the practical benefits of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, consensus and determination in action will increase. From the villages of Tung Ba commune today, science, technology, and digital transformation are gradually becoming a new driving force, contributing to the realization of development goals and bringing the Party's resolutions into life in a sustainable way.
