North-South Expressway reopens from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh after storm

Due to the impact of storm No. 5 Kajiki, the Traffic Police Department has issued a notice prohibiting all vehicles from traveling on the North-South Expressway section through Nghe An province from 1:30 p.m. on August 25, to ensure the safety of people and vehicles. At the same time, it is recommended that traffic participants proactively find suitable routes and parking areas to ensure safety and strictly comply with the orders and instructions of the authorities.

According to the 5 a.m. bulletin of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, due to the influence of storm No. 5, at Bach Long Vi station (Hai Phong) there are strong winds of level 7, gusting to level 9; Co To station (Quang Ninh) there are strong winds of level 7, gusting to level 10; Hon Ngu station (Nghe An) there are strong winds of level 8, gusting to level 11.

Coastal areas of provinces from Quang Ninh to Thanh Hoa have strong winds of level 6-8, gusting to level 9.
